Rain, wind and temperature can decide whether a spraying works, whether a harvest can happen or whether the irrigation plan should change. We turn the forecast for your location into operational windows for concrete field decisions.
Who it is for
Farm administrators, crop and livestock production managers and field technicians: whoever signs the order to sow, spray, irrigate or harvest.
Decisions we can help with
| Operational decision | Horizon | Maturity |
|---|---|---|
| Planting windows | Weather | Available for tailored pilots |
| Spraying and fertilisation windows | Weather | Available for tailored pilots |
| Irrigation and pasture planning | Weather + seasonal | Weather pilot-ready; seasonal in case-by-case evaluation |
| Harvest timing | Weather | Available for tailored pilots |
| Animal heat-stress preparation | Weather | Available for tailored pilots |
| Seasonal production planning | Seasonal | Case-by-case evaluation |
Possible inputs and deliverables
We can begin with suitable public or licensed weather, terrain and land-use sources. Field observations, production records and operating thresholds make the support more specific.
Example deliverables include a decision-focused outlook, agreed thresholds, short operational notes, and a review of performance against the customer's own decision criteria.
What a delivery could look like
Application window · generic highland farm.
| Day | Rain | Wind | Operational read | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MON | 20% | 8 km/h | Good window | |
| TUE | 75% | 14 km/h | Wait | |
| WED | 35% | 6 km/h | Window 06:00–09:00 | |
| THU | 55% | 10 km/h | Check the next update |
Illustrative example with synthetic data. Rain and wind thresholds are defined with each client; it does not correspond to a real client.
You can start without buying a weather station
A pilot can start with national-network observations, global numerical models and calibration against available historical records. And if you already have stations, farm rainfall records, application history or sowing and harvest dates from past seasons, we bring them in to sharpen the personalisation.
Explicit capability limits
- We do not diagnose pests or disease; we provide the meteorological layer of the crop-protection decision, which your agronomist defines.
- We do not recommend chemical products or doses.
- We do not issue official alerts: that is the exclusive responsibility of the Ecuadorian State (SGR/INAMHI). We deliver private operational intelligence.
- We do not install sensors or stations: we work 100 % with software and data.
